During an official visit to the Maldives, Saudi Minister of State Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz engaged in discussions with Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The visit coincided with the celebrations marking the 61st anniversary of the Maldives’ independence, highlighting the robust diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and the island nation.

Upon his arrival, Prince Mansour was received with a warm welcome at Velana International Airport. The reception party included key Maldivian officials, such as Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel and Principal Secretary to the President on Foreign Relations Mohamed Naseer. Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani was also present to greet the visiting dignitary.
